An ageless women

An era of a new age women.

A ageless women, beautiful ,intelligent and independent. Breaking free from stereotypes that defined her ideal self. She’s all set to define herself ,ready to assert her own right and be what she aspire to be.
Irrespective of the challenges accepting the flaws of herself she has to face all people or she has to leave behind. She has no longer qualms paying the cost to tread her own path.
She was stalked, got lewd marks or someone try to touch, molest her.  #metoo campaign has shown many unseen dark stories behind. We all know well this hooliganism will never change this to a well-mannered society.
A good daughter, good sister, good friend, good colleague, and also a good partner we are.

All set to break stereotypes but Indian middle class family face stereotypes called marriages and specially the arrange one never let us do.

I don’t have objection with kind of marriages but with the ideology behind this

“companionship is something different”
someone that holds you,
something that binds you,
somewhere you can comfort.

No one ask you what qualities she was looking in her life partner?  We don’t know even what groom was looking for? What they expecting from us? They try to bind us with the man’s job rather than the man.

Why we can’t discuss that things like, our likes dislikes even we are not allowed to talk. We are only allowed when the deal is final and instructed to show your soft sides only.
Why we can’t discuss with them like being in nucleus family I am capable enough to share your responsibilities I will share all the fundamentals , your paying bills, our basic needs, I can drive your car when you get tired, I can fill your Income tax return in last minute, I can make our children’s their homework, I will join you in your outdoor game, I will join you when you watch your favourite games but Are you ready to share my responsibility with you ?

Can you share my hand while cooking, while dusting, while laundry, when I am rushing for breakfast? Can you watch my daily soap with me? Will you turn off the Flames of gas when milk get overflow without shouting over me?

Can we discussed over the myth like opposite attracts, love is enough for survive and many more?
How long you will act as a provider, protector of us
A new age women is capable enough, defensive enough to pay bills, to buy our clothes, we can chase our dreams by ourselves. We are capable enough to protect ourselves, we are ready to be the provider. Can you accept this?

Lessons which never backfires .. When life gives us a lesson, we must appreciate. Its not that easy to embrace the lessons which hurts you so badly but when we realize or analyse in a productive way we always end up with thanking god for blessing you. What we do is always because of consequences of the moment, how to tackle them we can only learn from lessons and no teacher, no books , not even our parents can teach us this, this can only learnt from the experience of life. There is neither limit of grief nor of happiness but its depends how we react on that situation. If we take it as a challenge of life and perform better its always endup with the compliment or badges of honor in a time.
